I'm looking to create a "dynamic symbol" something comparible to the "dynamic block" in Autocad. (a dynamic block is an advanced type of block that contains rules and parameters, allowing you to change its size, shape, or configuration on the fly without having to explode it or redefine the block definition.)
I have the creation of several symbols in mind, but for instance I'd like to create a "section line symbol". I imagine 2 (return/enter ⏎ ) arrows + a text block. The text block should be "counting"; S1, S2, etc. I want to be able to adapt the "section line symbol" depending on the lenght or with of the floorplan. BUT when I stretch the symbol ONLY the distance between the arrows should increase, the arrows should NOT become bigger NOR should the text. In addition I should be able to flip the direction the arrows are pointing.
Preferably, I also want to rotate the symbol whilst the text moves along BUT the words maintain to be horizontal.
Too much to ask? The revision cloud in Bluebeam already seems to have similar options, so why can't I make one myself?
