This week, we’re highlighting a powerful way to work smarter with custom tools in the Tool Chest in Bluebeam Revu!
Need to use the same markup from your Tool Chest with the same properties, but with a slightly different shape?
No problem! Double-click the Markup in your Tool Chest to change how the tool works and unlock a more flexible placement.
So instead of placing a replica of the tool, the double-click lets you:
- Draw a new version of the shape with custom geometry
- Add as many points as needed while placing it
- Keep all the same preset properties (color, line style, fill, etc.)
- Create faster, cleaner markups without extra reshaping steps
🪄It’s the best of both worlds: consistent styling + customizable placement.
