I’d like to request an option in Revu that lets the software pick a random color automatically each time a markup is placed. (Planswift offers this and it makes fast takeoffs much easier.)
This is not meant for users who need strict color standards. They can continue using the Toolbox where each item can be locked to a specific color. My workflow is different. for example, when I’m counting multiple types of light fixtures, I prefer each type to show in a unique color so I can tell them apart quickly without manually changing the color every time.
(And I don't really care which color it is, as long as it's not the same color as the previous fixture.)
The random color selection could be applied per element. For example, text could stay black, while the fill and/or line color changes randomly for each new markup. This would keep labeling clean while still giving visual variety to the items being counted.
Hoping this can be considered for a future update.
