I have a 1000MB file that I want to compress, but when I use the resize pdf tool, it only compresses 3%. Is there a real compression option to turn this file into something I can attach to an email?
In a word, no.
I would break that file down into individual pages, or at least into sections and then upload those to Studio Projects and invite whoever you were going to email them to to the Project.

Taking a large file down to an option to email attach will be a big ask. You can look at the "edit" portion of the Reduce File Size and try to adjust the image values down. That will probably have the biggest impact on file reduction.
Also seen times when you simply print a new pdf. Keep everything the same, just make a new one from the one you're look at. This can often be a much smaller file size than the original.
thank you! the image editing was helpful, but I guess for this specific file it wasn't enough.. with the image reduction I was able to compress it using ilovepdf!
