With the latest update, it seems the ability to hold down CTRL to temporarily turn of Snap to Markup or Snap to Content was removed. Now, say if I need to draw a line, I have to click once to begin the line (which means the beginning of my line will snap to something nearby), and then I can hold down CTRL to turn off the Snaps for the end of my line. This same phenomenon is also happening for the Cloud, Dimension, Polygon, and Arrow markup tools. Also for the following Measure tools: Length, and Area.
With the Polygon tool, there's also another twist. Say I want to draw a rectangle using a Polygon (PS - I know I could just use the rectangle tool, but sometimes I have defaults set to Polygon and other defaults for Rectangle, and it's easier to use both). I will not be holding down CTRL, and then will click and hold the left mouse button to begin drawing a rectangle using Polygon. If, while I am holding the left mouse button down, I also start to hold down CTRL, then when I release the left mouse button, the rectangle (Polygon) I just drew will disappear and it will think I just began a new non-rectangular Polygon.
These bugs are not happening for the Polyline, Rectangle, Ellipse, and Arc. They are also not happening for the Polylength measure tool.
These are the tools I use most often as an engineer. Can Blubeam please address?
