I’ve noticed that in Revu 21, every page in the Thumbnails panel now shows “Scale: Not Set” if the PDF doesn’t have a defined drawing scale.
In my case, I review and organize a lot of documents like submittals, wiring diagrams, proposals, and building maps, none of which use or need scales. The problem is that the “Scale: Not Set” text clutters up the page label area and makes things more confusing for my team.
I do rely heavily on the page labels for navigation, so hiding the label column entirely isn’t an option. I also don’t want to assign a dummy scale (like 1 = 1) because that just adds more unnecessary information.
Is there a way, or a setting anywhere, to completely hide scale information from page labels in Revu 21? Or is this just hard-coded now with no way to turn it off?
If there’s no option, I’d really like to see Bluebeam bring back a checkbox like the old “Include Scale in Page Labels” setting from earlier versions. For those of us who mainly handle non-scaled documents, this would make Revu much cleaner and more practical.
Thanks in advance if anyone’s found a workaround or knows if Bluebeam plans to add this back.
