Hello. My name is Bill and I'm brand new to Revu.
My apologies if this has already been discussed. I don't know enough yet to even know what to search for.
I would like to know if it is possible to mark up a plan within Revu and then generate lists or reports of certain items.
I would like two different types of mark-ups on the drawing.
- I want to simply drop sequential numbers on the plan next to the items that need to be changed. I would like to add comments to the numbers that would indicate the action to take but I don't want these notes to show on the plan.
- I want other items to be just simple notations such as "Delete" or "Add 1 foot to the width".
I want to create reports, preferably added to the same page as the mark-up items. This report would only include the numbers and comments from #1 above. No need for a report for the notes from #2,
The purpose is to create change lists for projects that can be saved as PDF and given to my draftsmen in order for them to make changes to the plans. They will not be using Revu themselves.
Is this possible and if so, can someone direct me to tutorials showing how it would be done? I have looked at Summary lists and Legends and they look promising but I haven't found a way yet to get exactly what I'm wanting.
Thanks so much,
Bill
