Bluebeam auto grouping of different counted items

I had a number of instances where I would do counts on say fire doors and separate count common doors single separate common doors double and later find that Bluebeam has added them all together as 1 type. Seems to be when using the same shape and colour for the count. This could be expensive exercise if not picked up over 60 level highrise. Does anyone have a fix for this. (Support have been poor as it's been weeks with no feedback on the issue)

Can you explain this better please? I'm not fully understanding what you're doing.

For me though, I tend to do door counts off a schedule. I'll export to Excel, clean it up a little and they use Excel's tools to do my counts. Usually a LOT faster. Accuracy is going to depend on the quality of the schedule though.

I understand using door schedule but had several instances where schedules are incorrect so I always do separate count from plans while measuring. Same issue counting powder room, ensuite , bathrooms and laundry. Say 5 units per floor Bluebeam may group all and show as 20 powder rooms per floor with no bathrooms or ensuites etc. I can correct this after the grouping by separating all which is not ideal for later in the spreadsheet although better than being grouped

Just another issue with door schedule vs count on plan. When counting on plan I can separate count type per wall type as installing to lightweight framed wall is different cost to concrete and or block wall etc

it shouldn't be grouping them if you're using different tools for your counts. I've never had that happen.

Iv'e noticed it several times over the years but thought it was from copy pasting to different levels and always checked or split after pasting but the last job measured grouped these thing without any copy, paste.
