This is how we currently use Revu on the iPad to do field surveys. One additional function I would like to see added is being able to export capture media from Bluebeam desktop. Currently, attached images from Revu on iPad are able to be exported through this function, but this workflow is not possible with Cloud as of now.
Hi @Alain Dufresne and @Craig Sider-HGI! I’m Shawn, the Product Manager for Bluebeam’s mobile team. We hear you. Notes, photo attachments, and exporting media are critical workflows, especially for teams working in the field.
Right now in Bluebeam Cloud on iOS, you can place images on drawings with the image markup tool. Linking photos to markups and exporting them from desktop is on our roadmap for early next year.
These are part of a broader effort to give you full access to your files and tools across all devices. We're wrapping up the first phase of that at the end of Q3, followed by next wave of updates like Tool Sets, Measurements, and image capture improvements.
We’re prioritizing features that help you access information quickly, like bookmarks, and capture jobsite data in the moment, like photos and notes. If Revu for iPad works better for now, you can keep using it as long as it's installed on your device.
Thanks again for sharing. We’re committed to bringing the best of Revu to mobile, and your input helps us get there.
