I often find that when I insert a tool, e.g., a rectangle of a specific size, in the corner of a room, the dimensions can be hard to read, as these values are placed along the line of the wall when the rectangle snaps to this area.

It would be great to be able to offset the segment value so that it appears inside the rectangle.

e.g. a negative offset to place the text within the rectangle, and a positive value to move the text outside the rectangle.

I can see how the offset would be useful.
For now, how about showing the Width and Height in the caption in the middle of the drawn rectangle instead of having the dimensions aroundthe perimeter.
