Do you remember the first time you were introduced to Bluebeam or the first thing you learned how to use?
If you could give one piece of advice or tip to new Revu users, what would it be?

Ask questions.
A thousand times yes to asking questions, @Doug McLean!!! Personally, for a long time, a fear of mine was not appearing as smart as other people if I didn't know something about a certain topic. But in my experience, I've learned people are always more than happy to share! I think I ask about 100 questions a day now - ha!
Suggestion #1: In many cases, Bluebeam Revu provides multiple ways to get something done. Before you are faced with a critical project deadline or document release, spend some time to practice using your business process as a guide. For each step of the process, make sure you know and have practiced at least one way to perform that task in Bluebeam.
Suggestion #2: use the largest possible computer monitor you can. Use two if possible!
Look up the keyboard shortcuts and learn the ones for tools you use the most, like highlight or measure. Pretty soon you'll run circles around the rest of the office. https://support.bluebeam.com/revu/resources/keyboard-shortcuts.html
I agree with the monitor. I was able to talk my boss into an HD 32". It really does make a difference
Or 4….
I can relate 🤣
For any brand new user, the first thing you are going to want to do is change off the Revu profile. Revu> Profiles> Revu Advanced. This actually changes the UI quite a bit and makes it look a little more like AutoCAD. Now think about your workflow, how did you do that before? Look through the toolbars to find something that's close to what you would do with a pen, and just have fun.
Hi all, We recently experienced a technical issue that caused users to have trouble accessing Bluebeam.com domains. The problem has been fixed, but it may take a little while for the fix to fully take effect everywhere due to how internet systems store temporary information. Thank you for your patience as everything…
When this happens, I can't move a directory with that file. This reddit post solved it for me. You just need to disable the recent file list in Revu. But I would like to use the recent file list feature someday, now that I have to turn it off. Please fix this Bluebeam. Thanks.…
Hi Bluebeam Community, I recently purchased two vacant residential lots in El Sereno/South Pasadena area to build at least two small temporary homes for families displaced by recent wildfires. This project will provide safe, dignified housing while survivors rebuild their lives—but I need your help to make it happen! How…
Resolved: Delete existing version and install old version. Question is in the title. I use the tool chest for my job, I make/edit/modify maybe 50-100 markups a day and whatever was done to the tool chest has ruined its functionality. A few examples: Double click to edit name is now extremely inconsistent. The markups are…
I do an absurd amount of take offs, and count all day long. I LOVE being able to leave a sequence, and resume it after looking at another page. This doesnt work anymore? Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
I have been using Revu to build quantity take-offs for construction estimates, I’m trying to clean up the organization and structure of the markups. I typically sort the markups by the subject, but I need to be able to re-sort the line items before I export the take-off. I can’t manually move items on the markup list up or…
Good morning, I logged a ticket with support but no response yet. I cleared the registry by doing a complete uninstall of all previous versions and used the Bluebeam Cleaner Utility (but that only goes back to 21.0.3. I also ran the latest download as an administrator yet the only thing that installs is OCR and when it…
Hello, recently I have encountered an issue regarding certain snapshots and their interactions in other PDF viewers after flattening. When documents flattened in Bluebeam Revu are opened in Adobe Acrobat, snapshots that were previously flattened are able to be selected and edited. Is there a way to have snapshots flatten…
I'm currently working on customizing the engineering review stamp from the custom libraries, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to edit it without disabling the pop-up feature that appears when placing the stamp. Ideally, I want the pop-up to remain active so that the reviewer can fill out the required fields…
Ok. So I have decided to throw in the towel and look for some help. Towards the end of the year I made a form in Word and then made it fillable through Bluebeam's "Automatically Create Form Fields" in Tools (I believe as it's been a good while). Both samples attached. Since then I have been doing other things, have had…
