With the EOL of Studio Prime coming at the end of the year I was wondering if there was a plan to create something that gives users essentially what Studio Prime is already providing, the ability to share "Full Access" to all studio data within a selected group of users, while being able to leverage this with the Studio API.
The implementation would mimic the soon to be deprecated Studio Prime while granting "Admin" access to each user in that studio prime space.
This would put all studio data into a "pool" that would allow any users in the group to access, edit or delete any Studio data that is created by any user within the group, and grant access to said data through the Studio API.
- For example lets say I'm in a group with 2 other users (User 1 and User 2) and I create a studio session and take vacation for the next two weeks, since that Studio Session is tied to a workflow, we can't advance that workflow through the API for 2 weeks without transferring ownership of that session to either User 1 or User 2, if the workflow involves updating, or finishing that Studio Session.
- With Studio Prime we could overcome this by granting Admin access to all 3 users, then they could interact with each others Studio Data like they were all owners of that data, allowing User 1 and User 2 to manage that Studio Session I created at anytime, through the Studio Prime API.
Currently you can grant another user access over a Studio Session with the "Full Control" permission, but from my investigation that control does not allow you to manage that session via the Studio API.
