When I attach an image it comes in sideways and the preview is sideways also. Is the a setting that controls that?
This post fell below the fold for me so I'm late to respond. The first thing that comes to mind is maybe your view is rotated (vs the page). Does this happen for all users? All your files? Can you share a file that does this?
It's the image when you attach it. The preview is also rotated.
The drawing is ok as landscape. when I rotate it from the View menu it rotates the whole drawing, which I don't want.
This is an image (pictures in JPG form) the pictures after have to be rotated 90d but the preview of the image stays sideways. as you can see the preview is rotated and stays that way, so the image comes in rotated then I have to rotate it.
oh all pictures on the computer are not rotated.
This is strange. We might need staff support for this one. @Marco M is there someone here who can help with this issue?
@ruizro From what I can tell it appears that the image itself is not rotated correctly. The best way to test this would be to open then image in your typical image viewer, rotate it, save it and then see if the next time you go to add that image if it adds in a different orientation.
if the file is rotated in the file viewer it will import rotated as well.
OK tried that. no luck. an earlier version did not do that.
I'm using x64 21.3
OK got it.
When you create a new pdf it is set to portrait which the image(s) comes in sideways.
If you set it to landscape, they (images ) come in not rotated. Also if you change an existing file to Landscape it fixes it. 😑

When working on a file, Bluebeam will freeze then shut down. It's been happening quite frequently. Why is this happening?
As part of preliminary estimating for roadway projects I have created a custom toolbox for area, length and count items. I can change the color. Is there a way to change the icon to something like SW for sidewalk area? I have the measuring tools set up with custom labels and layers to facilitate review and quantity total…
Hello, Can I import Chets Tool Items from Excel. I've a list of items in Excel (number, description, m, m2, m3 of Pc) I've to measure. Can I import it to Tool Chest. Thanks.
Good afternoon, I want to create a Tool-Chest component in "Tool Chest" that automatically numbers, e.g., W001, W002, W003, W004, ... and measures the area. It should place this on the plan-view with number W001 and the area. And then also place this number W001 in the Marksup list so that the link between a specific wall…
Hello! Today when uploading a capture from a screenshot, the image sets at 3D, does anyone know how to make the capture images to set at 2D? Thanks in advance
Hi All, I want to send selected sheets from my drawing Set to a sub contractor. Is there a way to send just the sheets I select from the Sets window? Thanks Ahead, Ian
I am estimator and sometimes need a lot of back and forth between plan and sections/details. I am aware of can use ALT+ Arrow left to back my previous page. But, I would like to keep focusing my current drawings and open those links trough new tabs. I can do it when I use Microsoft Edge (when have opened the PDF drawings).…
I recently upgraded to the latest version of Bluebeam from Version 20.3 and it is a disaster. There are 2 major problems that occur that have essentially eliminated the way that I typically do estimates. The recent tools button now records the same tool over and over again every time I use it. So if I use a polylength tool…
When using Bluebeam I find times when I need multiple pages locked together in one view for measurement purposes or to layout something which spans multiple pages, there must be a more intelligent method which Bluebeam can offer then what I have done which is pasting screen shots of other pages onto one page then manually…
