Can you create a button to mirror the PDF and it's not the same as rotating.
If I understand what you're looking for, to accomplish this today you could right-click on a page from the Thumbnails panel and choose Copy Page to Snapshot (Ctrl+Alt+C).
Next, create a new PDF with the same page size and then go to Edit > Paste in Place (Ctrl+Shift+V).
Then, right-click on the pasted snapshot > Alignment > Flip Horizontal (Ctrl+Alt+H).
Finally you'll want to flatten the snapshot so it is no longer an editable markup on top of the page. Right-click and select Flatten.
I realize this is several steps and not 1-click, and wouldn't be scalable for a lot of pages, but does this create the results you're looking for?
I'm curious about what scenario(s) you have to do this.
Also, how often do you have to do this, and for many documents/pages?
Hello!
I followed your steps in the discription above and it works just fine. I would like to take it a step further though.
The reason I want to do this is to overlap to another pdf (drawing) to se if there is any differences between them. This does'nt work when my new mirrored pdf is blank when i go to Document> Overlap pages. (se attatchements)
Is there any way to fix this?
Also, just to be sure. Is "Flatten" the command with the weight? I have a Swedish version of BB Revu so I have a bit of language issuses.
I'm not sure what is going on with your mirrored drawing as nothing shows up when you start to use the overlay function. However, have you just tried overlaying the original pages using the manual 3-point aligning i.e. without doing any sort of rotations?
Yes, the "Flatten" icon looks like a weight.
Something about 19-113 speglad doesn't allow the overlay to work. Without making any changes, the overlay doesn't recognize any of it's content so only the content from V-57-1-02-19-113 shows up.
I would have thought the instructions from @Jared Adler - Bluebeam CSM would have worked. Turns out that the Overlay tool ignores snapshots, even when flattened.
Since the update, my area measurements have been messing up when I try to add a curve control point while measuring. I hold ctrl + click and drag and it almost always reverts back to a straight line when I release and adds a point where my cursor was holding the curve. Also, the lines/area disappear completely if I move…
On the Bluebeam website, under "Resources" > "Need an older version of Revu?" there is only v20 and older. This needs new options, like v21.6. Currently the need for this is high, because v21.7 has a highly annoying "new feature" while drawing polylines, areas and contour and area measurement. Something goes visually wrong…
I have added our org SharePoint to Bluebeam Cloud (website) and I can see folders as I would expect. When I add my org OneDrive account to Bluebeam Cloud I see OneDrive and PersonalCacheLibrary folders show, if I click on OneDrive, it says "Something went wrong. Please try again." Never works, and I opened a ticket and…
If Bluebeam thought moving away from Bluebeam Revu for iPad in favor of Bluebeam Cloud was a good move… they have some explaining to do. I have been trying to get Bluebeam Cloud work for my team and so far it is glitchy, slow, cumbersome, and it is missing 90% of what made Bluebeam Revu so good. I can't measure things in…
A mirror tool would be really helpful when sketching ideas.
I found this support article, but I don't see the options shown in the screenshot to send to Cloud. At the bottom of the tool set menu I only see Manage Tool Sets, there's no Send Tool Sets to Bluebeam Cloud.
Many of my customers organize their Recent Files into Categories. What is the best practice to get this handy piece of user settings across into a new Bluebeam setup? I used Ctrl+K > Admin > Backup / Restore, but the Recent Files content seems to be not in the UserPreferences.xml. Anyone here to tell me where it is and how…
In our work, we frequently need to compare floor plan drawings. Often, we have to compare older drawings from archives with very new and detailed ones. The scales of these drawings often differ — sometimes from 1:100 to 1:200, but more commonly with small variations of 1–5% at a detailed level. Our current workflow is as…
Introduce a return function in Bluebeam! For example; Let's say there are annotations on the floor plan that have hyperlinks that take you to that annotated elevation and from there you click another annotation marker on the elevations that takes you to that detail and if you want to go back, you either have to remember…
