Will clicking cancel when finalizing a session open the session back up?

I've been trying to finalize a BB session for about 1.5 hrs now. Its stuck generating the report (which I don't actually need) I just need all of the marked up PDFs. My fear is that if I click cancel it will end the session and all the mark ups will be gone.
It is quite hefty, so its possible its still generating that report and will finish soon, but progress bar has not budged an inch. Seeking any advice, I need these markups ASAP.

@S Bortscheller I was able to test this, and it did open the session back up. I know you have probably already resolved this, but I wanted to answer in case someone else has this issue in the future.
