How to export only selected markups?

Or alternatively, how can only specific markups be imported from a markup XML file?

I know that the markup list has a function to export and import markups. But the tool exports/imports ALL markups in the document. Is it possible to export a specific set of markups?

You can filter out markups based on certain criteria based on information in any column in the markups. If there is a common attribute in a specific markup column you can set it to export only mark ups that meet the selected criteria.

This is done in the export markup dialog box by selecting the Filter and Sort option. I currently have Revu 21, but I am pretty sure previous versions, have this capability.

I appreciate the answer. This does exactly what I asked, but I left out part of the question lol. After a specific set of markups are exported, I want to import that set onto another document. Unfortunately the 'export markups summary' tool doesn't export to a format where I can then import the markups into another document.

Thank you for the help though!

I see, this should remedy that. In your preferences under interface, you can change your markup export preferences to exclude filtered markups.

You can then use the markup list to filter out the markups you don't want to export in the same way as the exporting the summary.

When you export the markups, it will only have the markups that were not filtered out. You can then import the new markup file to a new PDF document.
