  1. Is there a way to import the template from an excel sheet to a markuplist of Bluebeam. (If the client has a template like Subject and few other title columns to import to Bluebeam)  Is there a way to do that.?

  • Hi again Adeeb,
there is a way to import information from a .csv file into Bluebeam Revu's Markup List, but I am not sure if it's what you are looking for. When you use Choice Custom Columns, you can import data from Excel in .csv format. I have used this for duct work so I can create a long list of width, depth and circumference options that I can then import into Revu quickly. There are some tricks to using Subject in Choice Columns, and an easy first crack at it is to not use them so your Choices work on ALL markups, then go back and refine the choices by using Subject to learn how it works.
TIP: Subject filters dont use Wildcards eg Subject is 'existing duct' or 'proposed duct' using '* duct' will not work for anything.
check this out in BBU https://university.bluebeam.com/how-to-custom-columns/1743346 it does not cover import .csv so I have added this pic here

    Hi Shanoc..

Thanks for your reply.. It was really helpful to understand the feature.. But the client is looking to import the complete columns and data straight away. The software they use has got additional plugin for excel import. Please check the screeshot attached. Do bluebeam has any plugins for the excel import.?

  • Sorry, Bluebeam does not have this feature.
