Javascript Code for Submittal Streamlining
This is my first post, so please forgive me if I misstep!
I had a project for a client that was looking to streamline their submittal process. In the past, their method was to complete single lines for lighting control in AutoCAD and print to PDF for contractors to Bid / utilize for construction. Our idea was to further utilize Bluebeam and have all symbols and descriptions (device name, room number, model, etc.) be editable in Bluebeam. Ultimately, I was able to develop code & a process for a toolbox filled with devices that, once placed on a single line, the user would receive a pop-up box and must fill out all information according to the company's standards before the device is placed.
What I am looking for is some Bluebeam users to help me test this method and give any feedback. I feel there are some steps I am missing that would help streamline the process and make this much easier to package together.
