How do I get a vertical scroll bar?

I am a struggling new user for Bluebeam. I did have a vertical scrollbar a couple of days ago, but now it is gone. It shows that it is enabled in the preferences, but I don't see it. I tried ticking the On Left box, but that didn't seem to do anything. The enable boxes for Horizontal and Vertical are grayed out on the Preference/Navigation screen. That puzzles me too.

Any ideas?

Hi @BBL - we're excited to hear that you're a new Bluebeam user!!

Maybe try enabling Scroll for Single Page Mode too and then click the box for Show Vertical Scrollbar on left? See if that works and then you can change back to your original settings. LMK!

    Hi Angela,

Are you talking about the ctrl+4 single page mode? That doesn't seem to work any better for me.

I am using the continuous pages mode (ctrl+5), but I did try single page mode.

  • Try zooming into the page, filling the screen, before you go into the preferences menu.

Thanks for the suggestion, Jes. It still doesn't seem to help.

I wonder if I need to have some toolbar turned on to get the scrollbar?

  • What are your settings for Single Display and Continuous Display under General/Document?

That is correct. The box is checked, any yet, I see no scroll bar. I had the scroll bar a week ago, and it worked fine.

  • I'm officially stumped on this one, @BBL !

I hope a BB team member will know now to shake that out.

In a pinch with this glitch, maybe a re-install would fix it.

Be sure and save your profile before, so you can re load your personal settings afterward.
