Isometric Drawings
I have used BlueBeam Revu to create piping isometric drawings. However, this process takes a very long time and is painstaking because currently Revu only allows you to snap to 45° or 90°. If there was an option to turn on snapping to 15° increments, it would allow for much cleaner and faster creation/marking up of piping isometric drawings.

If the idea is to have a graph / paper background, it may be easiest to make your own template, where you can add a title block, set scale, insert an image to set up projection lines off of…… You can download an Isometric grid and have your own, tailored to exactly what you are trying to represent graphicly.

Sketch to scale may work well for this. With "Poly Line" you can key in dimensions and rotation, however you need to know those values prior to beginning your sketch.
Hope this helps.

The best I can do for now is
"Set the scale then go to Sketch to Scale, choose polyline and it will ask you for the distance and rotation"

I think he is asking for an Align to Grid/snap function like that of Concepts with the grid being isometric. I could use that as well. I develop my pdfs as 3d isometric sketches and my customers draw over the top of the base drawing by hand. Aligning to my isometric drawing would be super helpful and they could draw in Bluebeam.
I also use Concepts…
This video shows snapping and aligning to the grid which in this example is 90 degree but if you turn on the isometric grid it will follow the isometric grid.

That is super handy. I downloaded a sample and I turned on snap to content and it snaps to the isometric grid line and line intersection. Very helpful. ONLY thing here is that you have to Snap to the content. Pick a dense grid pattern if you need a fine amount of control.

Awesome! So glad that worked for you.
I had another thought…….. (dangerous I know..). If you have some time 20-30 minutes - maybe less, you could sketch over the sample with "PolyLine" and make a very "Snappy" template, adding your own title block with some form fields, logos, etc…..
Let me know how that goes if you are inclined to create this template. I'd like to know what issues you come across, what goes well, & how that works for you.
Have a great rest of your week and an awesome weekend!Cheers!
