i have multiple viewports with different scales. how can I measure & retain different dims

What do you mean by "measure and retain different dims"? Is the measure tool not adjusting scale when you switch viewports? Are you making new measurements or copying from one view to another?

my viewports that i was referencing were created in CADD so not access to them via bluebeam.
I tried to send you a question and attach the doc, but after your question, i looked into the measurement tools & how to apply a viewport with a certain scale in bluebeam! voila' that works!
