When setting up a Custom Column, is there a way to only include in totals of the PDF summary header?
Not sure I understand your question @The Other Joe
Do you maybe have a snapshot or explain the scenario?
Sure, thanks. I've created a custom column that shows the individual metric of a particular markup. This is set up as a number, which shows in the header as totals, and repeats the name of that custom column. I have also created a custom column for the total. I have multiple markups that will combine and will need to add up all those individual metrics but need to only show that once on the PDF summary in the header section. I see the check mark box to include in totals when setting up the custom column but would only need to show the totals once.
When you build the Number custom column, you can uncheck the "show totals" box since I don't think you need those added up. When you build the Total column, build the formula using the other values, and check the box to show the total. If all the markups have the same subject or label, you can sort the list by that, and the totals will be at the top of each like markups. Not sure if that's what you needed, but hopefully it gets you closer.
I've got the individual metric column unchecked, labeled as "Individual Metric" and a totals column labeled "Totals" and checked to show in the totals. This shows up duplicate in the header section and the column sections of the PDF summary as "Totals". The "Individual Metric" only shows under the header in the detail section since I only have certain columns checked to show on the summary. Not able to screenshot anything due to policy. Need to only show the individual metric and the totals label once.
It sounds like you're maybe creating a PDF summary. Is that the format you need? If you do a CSV summary, you will have all the markups just like you see them in the markups list, with totals.
No, thanks for trying to help. I'll see if I can reach out to BB, thanks!
