Export data from grouped markups

Question

Hi,

when I want to export markup data to a csv file and we have a table grouping multiple markups the tool only extracts 1 property and not the properties of all the grouped elements.

I looked solutions all over the community and none seem to answer my needs. I need to export each value as a whole group.

Does somebody have and idea on this ?

Confirmed, that's not something you're doing wrong, it's a known limitation. When markups are grouped, the CSV export only pulls the parent markup's row, the properties of the other items inside that group get left out.

Only real workaround right now is ungrouping before you export, painful if you're dealing with a lot of groups, but it's the only way each member keeps its own row and properties in the CSV. Someone dealing with roughly 3,000 groups hit the exact same wall and ran into the same performance pain trying to ungroup them all.

Worth adding your voice to the existing threads rather than starting fresh, both are already asking Bluebeam for an option to export grouped data without ungrouping first, that carries more weight than a new post.
