My recent files toolbar disappeared :(

Question

I checked the "Show recent files on Startup" box in the preferences and still nothing.  Anyone else having this issue?

Thank you for the response, unfortunately none of those steps restores the recently-opened files list that used to be under the recents tab in the screenshot above….I especially miss having  the "pinned" files shown too 😢

I’ve seen this happen when the Recent Files panel/view gets hidden rather than the startup preference being disabled.

I’d first check whether the File Access panel is showing the “Recents” section and try expanding it. If it’s still missing, I’d reset the Revu workspace/UI layout and check again. Also, the “Show recent files on Startup” preference controls what appears when Revu starts; it doesn’t necessarily restore the Recent Files panel itself.

That distinction may be worth checking here.
