I am currently preparing for a global rollout of Bluebeam Revu 21 in my company and would like to ask for your guidance regarding the region selection presented during the initial sign-in experience.
Our Bluebeam environment uses SCIM provisioning, and user licenses are automatically assigned in the Sweden (SE) region. The issue is that, when Bluebeam Revu 21 is launched for the first time, users can select any available region from the drop-down list (Germany, UK, US, Canada, Australia, Sweden, etc.).
If a user accidentally selects a region other than Sweden, such as Germany, the expected license is not assigned automatically, resulting in onboarding issues and additional support effort.
My concern is solely the region selected during the first Bluebeam Revu sign-in after installation, as this determines whether the user is provisioned and licensed correctly through SCIM.
Ideally, I would like Bluebeam Revu 21 to:
- Automatically select Sweden during the first sign-in.
- Prevent users from changing the region during the onboarding process.
- Alternatively, provide a way to preconfigure Sweden as the default region through deployment.
Could you please advise whether any of the following are supported?
- Forcing Sweden as the default region during the initial sign-in process.
- Preconfiguring the region through an MSI parameter, deployment setting, configuration file, registry key, Group Policy, or Intune.
- Suppressing or locking the region selection screen.
The objective is simply to ensure that users receive the correct license automatically, without needing to understand regional configuration details during onboarding.
Any recommendations or best practices would be greatly appreciated :).
