It would be so nice in the Properties > Layout of an object to be able to select what point to apply the changes to, instead of it always being the center of the object. This is how another software that I have used handles it.
The large white point is where the X, Y and Rotation changes will be anchored. The other grayed dots are selectable. This makes aligning objects to each other so much easier.
