I have to put a job # on each drawing for my assembly. It can be 200 drawings. It would be great if when I am making a stamp to put the information on the pdfs that the next time I need to use that drawing package I can just use a find and replace to edit the job# to the new updated number instead of having to delete the stamps and then add them back. I have a stamp that will put allow me to put in the Job number and then a pull down for the qty. But once it is placed there is not option to edit. these would be nice to be able to edit as the files could then be reused and updated more easily.
good this would be a really useful improvement. For large drawing packages, being able to edit an existing stamp's Job and quantity after placement would save a lot of time.
A Find & Replace option for stamp text or fields would be even better, especially when reusing a 200+ drawing package for a new job. Instead of deleting and reapplying stamps, users could simply update the Job #across the entire set. good feature request for improving reusable drawing workflows.
Hi @Dmatula, If you flatten the stamps you can use the "text" search in Revu to do a find & replace for the job number. One caveat, when you modify any flattened markup you can not unflatten it.

Adding on to what @Zoe England - ASt said, here are other options that might work here too. Header and footer is one, you can batch apply that across your whole set and update the job number on every page in one shot instead of hunting down each stamp.
Tool Chest is another route if you still want it to look like a stamp but easier to manage long term.
Only catch with header/footer is it's stuck to the page, not something you can drag around, so it's no good if you need it in different spots per sheet. But if the job # is the same across the whole set, either beats deleting and re-stamping 200 drawings every time lol
The replace option was not available on this.
