We've been able to replicate and identify the issue.
We will implement a fix in our upcoming Q4 release of Revu.
To date, new versions have been releases and still no fix.

You cannot keep the classic, ultra-thin preview line if you update to the current version.
Bluebeam intentionally changed how the drawing line (the rubber-band line) behaves during placement starting in version 21.7. Instead of staying a thin, simple tracking wireframe until finalized, the tool now previews the markup's width and properties while you draw. Even if you adjust a custom tool's line width down to 0.0pt before starting, the modern versions enforce a thick minimum preview outline that often blocks vector lines and snap points underneath. If keeping that precise, thin wireframe line during placement is critical for your workflow, do not update. You should remain on Revu 21.6.
I'm asking for the option to set the wireframe drawing line while using the polylength tool.
Shouldn't be that hard, since it was already part of the software.
Upgrading the software is great, but taking away a useful tool is downgrading the program.
