Feature Highlight: Typewriter vs Text Box

Ever needed to fill out a form that isn't fillable — no form fields, just static text on a PDF? Trying to line up a Text Box over each blank can be fiddly, and the box will reflow your text if you resize it. 

The Typewriter tool is built for exactly this. 

➡️ Here's how: 

1. Go to Tools > Markup > Typewriter, or press W. 
2. Click on the document where you want to start typing — no need to draw a box first. 
3. Type your text. Use Enter to control line breaks manually (Typewriter won't reflow them for you). 
4. If your rows don't quite line up with the form, adjust the Line Space setting in the Properties panel. 

Rule of thumb: use Text Box when you want contained, reflowing notes and comments. Use Typewriter when you're dropping text onto a form-like layout with fixed rows.

Hey enorris This is a great use case for Typewriter. I especially like using it on static forms where I need the text to stay aligned with the existing layout.

The Line Space adjustment is also a useful tip when the form has fixed rows. It saves a lot of time compared with trying to resize and position multiple Text Boxes, Thank You
