📐 Tool: Set to Scale
One option inside this tool that I don’t see many people using:
🔺Draw a Rectangle
🔺Draw an Ellipse
Instead of trying to find a known dimension on the drawing, you can use a shape with a known size to help establish the scale.
For example:
🔹 Draw a rectangle over an area with a known dimension
🔹 Enter the actual measurement
🔹 Bluebeam adjusts the scale
🔹 Now your measurements are ready for takeoff
Simple feature.
But when you’re working with scanned drawings, PDFs without proper scale, or messy old drawings, this can be surprisingly useful.
Sometimes the underrated tools are hiding inside the options you already use. 👀
What’s another Bluebeam feature people are sleeping on❓
