I use the Snapshot tool many times a day with the shortcut (G). It's fantastic and so efficient! I have noticed the resolution of the snapshotted content is not as quality as other snapshot tools. Even text can look a bit blurry. Highly recommend increasing the resolution of snapshots up a few notches. Thanks!
@rbidi this is actually already adjustable. Snapshot Resolution is tucked away in Preferences > Tools > Markup, under "Snapshot Resolution". Default is set pretty low, but you can bump it up anywhere from 72 to 600 depending on how sharp you need it. I bumped mine to 350 and it's made a solid difference on text clarity.
Worth also checking that "Take Vector Snapshots" is enabled. Vector snapshots stay sharp at any zoom level since they're not pixel-based like a raster capture.

Is there a way to disable the line weights in the snapshot? I tried to disable them before using the snapshot tool, but the line weights are enabled when pasted in place.

Disable Line Weights is a viewing preference, not a change to the PDF content. Since the Snapshot tool’s vector mode captures the source’s actual vector lineweights, those weights reappear when the snapshot is pasted.
If you need the pasted result to match the thin-line display, disable Take Vector Snapshots first and take a raster snapshot instead. Alternatively, paste the vector snapshot, flatten it once final, and then use View > Disable Line Weights for display.
