We are using PowerMobiel in combination with Bluebeam on an iPad. PowerMobiel is a case-oriented application that our inspectors use to monitor on-site. From this application, the files of the case that needs to be supervised are opened. The files are saved on a Sharepoint-site. There are hundreds of thousands of files from thousands of cases on SharePoint.
From PowerMobiel we share a file to Bluebeam to make annotations. After that, we would like to share the same file back to PowerMobiel. In PowerMobiel the file will be saved back on the Sharepoint-site as an new version of the file.
Because we used the 'Share to' feature in PowerMobile to send the file to Bluebeam, the file stays linked to PowerMobile in the background. That's why the full list of apps doesn't show up if you try to share it again from Bluebeam.Either Bluebeam would need to treat a file it receives via the share extension as a completely independent local file (so the normal share list appears), or Bluebeam would need a way to send the file back directly to PowerMobile so it’s recognized there as a new version. Neither of these is currently supported by Bluebeam, and we don’t have a solution on our side that fits our workflow. We need a solution to this problem.
