Split Vertical glitch

When using the Split Vertical feature to compare pdfs side by side, one of the pdfs glitches and does not display correctly until I click on it.

I am currently using version 21.10, but this glitch also occurred with the previous version. Additional staff at the company are experiencing the same error.

I emailed Bluebeam support about this and they shared a solution that worked for me:

1. (with Revu closed) Go to C:\Users\userName\AppData\Roaming\Bluebeam Software\Revu\[version]
2. Locate and open the UserPreferences.xml file in to the Notepad editor. (You may need to right-click > open with to do this.)
   • NOTE: AppData is a hidden folder, so you may need to go to View in the File Explorer and enable Hidden Items.
3. Click CTRL + F on your keyboard
4. Type in "<RenderEngine>" without the quotation marks
5. Within the line that looks like "<RenderEngine>2</RenderEngine>", change the 2 to a 1, then save the UserPreferences.xml file.
6. Try opening a file in Revu after that.

(2 is for Hardware, 1 is for Software, and 0 is Legacy)
