WHen you have done a mark-up and then you copy it and paste it at another location then you want to split the mark-up, it wont do it. Why is that? Wtih the original mark up, it allows you to split it.
Hey Tessi,
Try selecting the pasted markup first and make sure it's still a supported markup type (like a Line or Polyline). The Split tool only works on certain markup types. If the copied version has been flattened, grouped, or converted during the process, Split won't be available. If everything looks correct and it still won't split, it may be a limitation or bug in your Revu version. I'd be interested to know which version you're using.
Thanks
Hi Dhanush,
I'm using Bluebeam Complete. Yes it's only when I copy it across and re-group it to get the orientation right, then I ungroup it then try to split some of the mark-ups which are polyline.
Thanks for the clarification. Since you're using Bluebeam Complete, it sounds like the issue starts after copying, regrouping to adjust the orientation, then ungrouping. If the polyline markups no longer allow Split, the regroup/ungroup process may be changing their editable state. As a quick test, try splitting the polyline before regrouping, or use Paste in Place instead of regrouping if the workflow allows. If it still happens consistently, it could be worth reporting to Bluebeam Support, as it may be an edge case bug.
thank you
