This week we’re highlighting how you can customize Toolbars to help match the way you work!
Toolbars can be hidden, moved, customized, and locked in place.
Customizing your workspace helps keep your most-used tools easily accessible and improves efficiency throughout your day.
⛏ With the Customize Toolbars dialog, you can:
- Show or hide toolbars depending on your workflow
- Add or remove tools from existing toolbars
- Reorder commands so your most-used tools are always within reach
- Insert separators or blank spaces for better organization
- Create, rename, or delete toolbars to fit different projects or roles
Toolbar configurations are stored by Profile. Customizing toolbars affects only the Profile that is currently active. Exporting and sharing the Profile will also share toolbar customizations.
🪄Helpful tips:
- The Full Screen toolbar can only be customized while in Full Screen mode or Tablet Mode.
- Hiding tools (instead of removing them) is a great way to simplify your toolbar without losing access later.
- Adding separators and spacing can make busy toolbars easier to scan quickly.
The Properties toolbar appears along the top of the application, just below the menu bar. It cannot be moved, but it can be hidden. Go to Tools > Toolbars > Properties Toolbar to hide or show it, depending on its current state.
