We've been making big strides on Bluebeam Mobile this year, and the second half is stacked. π―
Here's what's coming for the rest of 2026: what it is, and when. Quick heads-up first: everything below is a target, and dates can shift.
π iOS
π Q3
- π§° Tool Sets (July) β Bring your existing custom Tool Sets into the app via BTX import, the top request from folks moving over from Revu for iPad. At launch it supports the markups currently supported today, with more advanced markups expected in Q4.
- πΈ Image Capture on Markups (August) β Snap a photo and attach it straight to a markup, capturing field conditions without leaving the app.
π Q4
- π Calibrate β Measurements already work on iOS; Calibrate makes them accurate to scale. Set a known scale by marking two points a known distance apart, so on-screen measurements match real-world dimensions.
- π Dimension Tool β Place line dimensions on a drawing to call out a length directly on your markup.
- π§° Tool Sets: advanced markups β Tool Sets expands to support more advanced markup types, so more of your custom tools carry over from Revu.
- π Page Labels β Navigate and search by page label right in the editor to jump to the sheet you need.
- π Markup Rotation β Rotate any markup to the angle you need.
- π Password-protected PDFs β Open and work with password-protected PDFs in the app.
π€ Android
π Q3
- βοΈ Cloud+ markup (July) β The first of our expanded markup types, giving you richer cloud annotations in the field.
- βοΈ Polyline & Polygon markups (August) β More expanded markup types following Cloud+, for multi-segment lines and custom shapes.
- π Markup Rotation (August) β Rotate any markup to the angle you need.
- π¨ Property Editing (August) β Fine-tune color, line weight, fill, and opacity on your markups.
π Q4
- π Measurements β Set Page Scale manually or Calibrate from two points, so you can measure to scale in the field.
- π Dimension Tool β Place line dimensions on a drawing to call out a length directly on your markup.
- π§° Tool Chest β Import BTX and use your custom tools in the field, the same Tool Sets capability as iOS, with support for more advanced markups expected in Q4.
- π PDF Forms β Fill out PDF form fields right in the app.
- π Bookmarks & Page Labels β Navigate by bookmarks and page labels to move through a set quickly.
- πΈ Image Capture on Markups β Snap a photo and attach it straight to a markup.
- π Password-protected PDFs β Open and work with password-protected PDFs in the app.
- π Studio Session files β Add or remove files in a Studio Session.
π· Still Field-First
Everything above ladders up to one idea: Bluebeam Mobile is built for the field, not a shrunk-down desktop app. Reliable files, real construction markups, and collaboration that works where you actually work.
π Wrapping Up
That's a lot of ground for one half of the year, and we're just getting started. Keep the feedback coming! It's shaping every release.
Thanks, everyone! π§
