Glitched Markups and Tools

I have setup my own tools in blue beam that take the area, along with setting up custom columns with formulas. Whenever I open a document I can markup the first plan/profile fine but when I go to the next page and attempt to use my tools they will not be recorded in my markups (These tools includes measurement tools and dark mode glitching). This is an issue because I need to be able to keep track of my progress and find certain items while doing takeoff, and I don't want to restart Bluebeam every time I need to update my markup list.

I have tweaked my hardware settings in Bluebeam, flattened my document, and made it a tiff and I still get this problem. It's also strange because some documents work fine and others don't and they weren't that different in size. Are there more ways to fix this?

It Sounds like it may be a PDF specific issue rather than your custom tools.

A few things I'd try:

• Revu Preferences > Advanced > Uncheck Hardware Rendering and restart Revu.

• Check that the Markups List isn't filtered.

• Run Document > Repair PDF and save a new copy.

• Flatten and unflatten the markups if the PDF contains complex layers.

• Export the file to a new PDF and test again.

Since some files work and others don't, I'd suspect page corruption, layers, or how the PDF was originally created. If the issue is only on certain drawings, the source PDF is likely the culprit."
