There are time when we have a large area measurement that only part of it gets changed. Instead of deleting and re-drawing the now two separate shapes, it'd be nice to be able to split the measurement and then make the necessary changes to each one.
If anyone is familiar with Rhinoceros 3D, it has this ability. I'd try to mimic it to this application.
