Restore persistent orthogonal lock (shift as a held state) for multi-segment markups. Removing this feature on Rev 21 was ridiculous, causes more clicking and reduces the efficacy of Bluebeam.
This "feature" has made using bluebeam a nightmare for measuring poly lengths. Please restore the old behavior.

I can understand the frustration here. For users who create a lot of multi-segment markups, having Shift act as a persistent orthogonal lock was a very efficient workflow. It reduced mouse movements and allowed you to stay focused on the markup rather than the interface.
The change in Revu 21 definitely added extra clicks for a task that used to feel seamless. Small workflow changes like this can have a surprisingly big impact when you're repeating the same action hundreds of times a day.
I think restoring the old behavior or even better, giving users a setting to choose between the legacy and new workflow would be a great enhancement. That way, teams that have built years of muscle memory around the original functionality can continue working the way that suits them best.
Hopefully the Bluebeam product team is keeping an eye on feedback like this, because usability improvements are often the ones that make the biggest difference in day-to-day productivity.
