I am AutoCAD/Revit user and have only started to use Bluebeam more recently. I have several projects under me and found will trying to help the field and making it easier for us as coordinators/detailers/manufacturers, I've been using BlueBeam to create smart PDFs, with layers. So I would export the files from Revit to CAD then make sure it's setup before I convert to PDF.
I've used the layers, mytoolchest, the counts and the legends to create a drawing that I can send out to folks. Also, it's great that I can create the type of file that you don't need CAD/Revit to do certain things once the PDF is setup correctly.
But there was one recommendation that if I had a apartment plan and made all my layers ( I can shut doors, power, lighting and so forth) which is great. it'll be nice to be able to rotate, mirror the background and have say the text does not rotate too. Or be able to scale just the background without scaling the whole thing or taking a snapshot of it then losing the layers to scale it.
It'll also be nice if the default receptacle and other devices once you place them can be rotated. I asked this with support before and know it's not a function that BB has right now but that would be a good start.
