Please add a "freeze list" option at the top of the Markups List, which would hold the current sort order and filter settings. It would be a temporary way to stop the markups list from re-sorting or changing while you go through them and respond, set the status, etc.
Then add a Next / Previous markup navigation element, with the ability to have shortcut keys to go to the next/previous comment in the markup list. These would work even when the markup list is not expanded. If the markup list is minimized, please include a tooltip on the shortcuts to change the status or reply.
It would also be nice to show in the status bar or somewhere "Markup X of XX" or similar while using the navigation element/shortcuts.
This will allow a coherent way to go through a selected set of markups in a meeting with other people in an organized manner.
