Hey all, big milestone this week 🚀
As of yesterday, we shipped Bluebeam iOS v1.27, bringing Measurements to Studio Sessions. That means you now have basic measurement capabilities across:
- 📁 Studio Projects
- 🔄 Studio Sessions
- 📱 Files stored on-device
All from the iOS app.
Even better? 🙌 These measurement tools are free to use. If you can access the file, you can measure it. Paid license not required.
We’re genuinely excited about this one. The feedback from our mobile users has been clear, and it’s directly shaping what we build next. Thank you for continuing to push us.
🔜 What’s Coming Soon
We’re continuing to ship updates every month. Here’s what’s next:
🗓 March / April / May
- Join unrestricted Sessions or Projects by ID
- Filter & sort Session and Project lists
- Universal Links open directly in the native app
- Measurement editing improvements (better vertex behavior, long-press fixes)
- Upload & delete Studio files
- Bookmark navigation
- Dark Mode
- Faster file-to-file navigation
- Quick access to recent files for multitasking
🗓 June / July
- Tool Sets (import-based BTX support)
👷 Field Workflows First
This year, we’re prioritizing field workflows:
- Faster file-to-file navigation
- Bring your existing Tool Sets into the app
- Less reasons to return to your desk to finish the job
- And later this year: Image Capture on markups 📸
More advanced markup tools are already in early development and anticipated through 2027. We’re making steady progress, release by release. Keep the feedback coming. It’s making the app better every month.
Thanks, everyone!
