Revu Automatically Scales Images on Import

I've been experiencing issues with how Revu scales images. My workflow is to import a PNG, add some clouds to it, and export it as another PNG. I have "Import Image Resolution" set to "Original," but have consistent issues with small images (1050x1796), which Revu paradoxically downscales to oblivion. Additionally, I have two images (1755x1014 and 1752x1011) which import at drastically different resolutions (702x405 and 2190x1263) despite having almost identical original resolutions. Would appreciate some transparency on how Revu is making these confusing decisions without user consent.
