Hi everyone!
What is the experience with Revu on Mac via Parallels?
I have been exclusively using in the past decade Revu on several iPads for marking off, measuring, take offs on the go but now as the iPad app gone and the new Cloud / Mobile replacement is still in the cooking I am forced to seek alternatives. As I have Mac M chip my first choice would be to get a Paralles with withI am familiar with and then install Revu on included Windows virtual machine and then use in coherence mode on my Mac. However from limited available on-line sources I do not have good idea how this will work. Few of the of the opinion I have across describe the experience as "workable BUT" other mention difficulties with install and random shut downs and account sing offs which would be annoying. Giving the subscription price I had to pay for both Parallels and Revu I do not want to end up with just "work BUT". For this combine price I would expect a perfect to be able to have full synchronisation/ operations and functionality.
If that is not possible due to Virtual Machine or MacOS limitations then I would look for other options as to get a second hand Surface Pro machine or Native Mac and iPad OS alternatives. PDF Expert is doing the job for drawings review, marking off, measuring and taking off while on the go but lacks Revu reputation. Although I had cross reference the measurements outcome with Revu and shows accuracy it need time to gain trust. Meanwhile I still hope that Bluebeam will double down on the Revu Cloud / Mobile and bring it fast to pro level old iPad app was and hopefully beyond but till then I need a solution.
Thank you in advance for your responses!
