When opening PDF's from file explorer the Preview and opening the PDF lags so bad, even up 30 seconds when it normally would take a few seconds to open.
Are they opening slower when double-clicking in Explorer vs opening from Revu? Are these large file sizes (~20MB)? Which version of Revu?

Interesting. Are these local files on your C drive or from your network? Revu should be pretty snappy with files that small, and you're on the latest version. Is there a lot of metadata like AutoCAD layers, bookmarks, markups?
Files are on the network, I believe there shouldn't really be much of those metadata. this all started happening last week. Nothing has really changed on the CAD side of things.

Same here. I rolled back to 21.7 and the issue is gone. Big/small file local/network opening fast again.
Looks like Version 21.8.0 is the issue
Just upgraded many of my users to 21.9.0 and no change. User said he has seen this issue and was hoping that my upgrade of his system two days ago would fix it, but it did not; "In use" files - even very small ones - take a very long (in PC clock times) to open. He just pointed this issue out to me tonight. My own system definitely does not have this problem, but I just checked and I am running 21.6.1.10804 (Yep - cobbler's shoes!)
We have also updated to version 21.9.0 and no change with this version. Same slowness as in the 21.8.
