Edit Text in a PDF file

Hi,

I'm a new user and want to edit some text on an existing PDF file.

Can somebody please help me on how can this be done. I can use text box to add content, but not edit the original content.

As @Doug McLean said, you can change a lot of the text by using the Edit Text tool in the Advanced Text toolbar.

Edit Text lets you add, change, or delete text. NOTE: It does not wrap lines, so it is best for simple fixes. If the page has flattened markups, keep in mind that editing text will stop those markups from being unflattened later. You also cannot use this tool on a PDF that is signed or certified.

How to Use It

1. Go to Edit > PDF Content > Edit Text, or click Edit Text on the Advanced Text toolbar.
2. Revu will gray out anything you cannot edit. Press INSERT to switch between insert and overwrite.
3. To add text, click where you want it and start typing. Revu will match the font, or you can change it in the Properties tab.
4. To delete text, select it and press DELETE.
5. To replace text, select it and type your new text.
6. Press ESC or pick another tool to exit.
7. You can use the arrow keys to move through text and double click to select a full word.
