Hi,
I'm a new user and want to edit some text on an existing PDF file.
Can somebody please help me on how can this be done. I can use text box to add content, but not edit the original content.
As @Doug McLean said, you can change a lot of the text by using the Edit Text tool in the Advanced Text toolbar.
Edit Text lets you add, change, or delete text. NOTE: It does not wrap lines, so it is best for simple fixes. If the page has flattened markups, keep in mind that editing text will stop those markups from being unflattened later. You also cannot use this tool on a PDF that is signed or certified.
How to Use It
Here is a link to the Bluebeam Help page for more details:
You'll have to add a toolbar, but you can do this. Fair warning, editing a lot of text in that PDF can be sketchy, but a few letters will be ok.
Add the Advanced Text toolbar to your interface and you'll be able to edit text. You can also do it from the Edit Tab. Edit> PDF Content> Edit Text.
If its a lot of text, consider exporting to Word and then printing back to PDF.
Good luck
