I am posting to check if there has been any changes with support for fully independent windows when dragging tabs out. When I drag a tab away from the main window, the new window does not have the full toolbar, and minimizing one window causes both to minimize. I know I can open a new instance from the taskbar, but I still cannot move tabs into that separate instance.
This heavily affects workflow, especially when comparing drawings or when I want one document on each monitor. Other posts I've found from over the years have mentioned the same thing, like wanting a second window with the full tools or wanting the ability to move tabs between windows. I do not want to speak for the entire community, but it is reasonable to think others share the same frustrations.
If anyone knows whether this has been fixed or improved, or if it is still a limitation, I would appreciate the update. I also want to add that I really do appreciate a lot about Bluebeam, and the transition has been a breath of fresh air. This post is an attempt to avoid the fate of crawling back to the software that shall not be named, but this issue is a potential deal breaker for me and and my fellow colleagues.
