Snapshot tool problem

HI all,

I had been using the Snapshot tool (G) in rectangle mode without any issues, but a few days ago it unexpectedly switched to Polygon/Lasso mode. Is there a way to revert it back to the default rectangle mode? Could I have accidentally pressed a key that caused this change?

I'm using version 21.7

Interesting question @Alvin.Tan. Are you sure that something has changed?

When I select the snapshot tool if I left click and hold the mouse button down/drag I still end up with a rectangular snip - I think this is how it always has been.

(Note that this may also be because I'm still running Revu 21.6 and this changed in Revu 21.7)

Hi David,
I understand now. If I press the Snapshot tool (G) without holding the left mouse button, I only get the Lasso option. But if I hold and click the left mouse button, I get the Rectangle mode instead. Thank you for your help. 😊
