For no known reason my BB has become excruciatingly slow. It makes no difference as to what file I open, if it has text only, vector line, images, if it is a single page or many, the program is now so slow that it takes 30+ seconds just to display the file's first page upon opening it. A click to change pages on a 3 page text document lags for 16 seconds. A click on the magnifying glass takes 15 seconds to have the mouse icon switch from a pointer to a magnifying glass.
I've reinstalled 3 times. I tried a previous version. I've used uninstaller apps to remove all leftovers and registry keys before reinstalling. I've tried changing the preference for 2D Rendering to each available option but no difference results. Just clicking on "Revu" to get to the menu for Preferences takes 15 seconds just for the drop down to display. I have no other applications open at all.
I don't believe any other software has been installed which might be conflicting but maybe some software update conflicts? No other installed application is behaving like this on this computer. I have 20+ other computers in the office all running with no similar issues. I have tried using other PDF editors and they encounter no such lag. Any suggestions as to what can be tried or is this a bug?
