Org Admin - FirstName LastName Updates

Two Part Feedback:

1.Correct error in Org Admin User function that fails to save entered values for end-user first name and last name. I watched one of our software license admins enter an end-user first name and user last name. Then, viewing on the user list, that account information was showing FirstName and LastName instead of entered values.

2.Provide ability for Org Admins to update end-user account information, particularly on the FirstName and LastName fields.

@Michael Watson, are you asking about how the Author appears on markups? That can be updated under Preferences → General → Options → User.

I believe this setting is local, and I’m not aware of a way for Org Admins to remotely change someone’s username.

One thing to note: if a username is changed, it only affects future markups. Existing markups will still display the old username, though you can manually update them in the Markups List.

@Shaya Birnbaum No. With the recent change in the Org Admin portal, multiple end-user accounts on the portal are now showing FirstName LastName instead of the user's actual names. The suggestion is not related to the user information that Bluebeam Revu pulls from the computer. Thanks for asking.

@Michael Watson, oh my, So instead of the actual username, it is Displaying "FirstName LastName" instead? Sounds like a bug to me! I personally did not see this issue (yet!) I would suggest contacting Support for this

@Shaya Birnbaum Thanks for the suggestion. Already submitted. Bluebeam Support sent back instructions to send to our end-users on how they can update their information themselves. Since the information is not really used anywhere, I am not comfortable asking the end-user to fix an issue something they did not cause/create.
